Project Description
Jackie’s visit to the Seychelles exceeded her expectations. Read more about her trip and do get in touch to chat more about the destinations and the hotels she visited.
When people ask me about the “best” place I have ever visited, my response is always that the Seychelles are the most beautiful islands I have ever seen. The “best” place very much depends on individual expectations however most people have the same view of natural beauty.
I travelled to the island of Saint Anne in November which is now the home of Club Med Seychelles. A beautiful private island with Club Med being the only resort on the island. The island is about 30 minutes by private boat from the harbour on Mahé, the main island.
Flights from Heathrow are with Qatar Airways via Doha and the connection time is about 2 hours.
This is probably the best Club Med Resort I have visited. An eco-friendly resort committed to preserving nature and the treasures of the Seychelles. Club Med Seychelles is a fabulous resort for families, couples, singles or a group of friends who enjoy lots of activities during the day as well as fun evenings.
There are 2 international restaurants to choose from as well as three bars and three outdoor pools including an adult-only area. The resort also offers an excellent programme of day and night time entertainment.
The board basis is All Inclusive which includes breakfast lunch and dinner, wine, beer and alcoholic drinks.
The list of activities at Club Med Seychelles is endless and includes Padel tennis, snorkelling trips, yoga, pilates, back pain workshop, wellness studio and a botanical trail (a walking tour exploring the island). Also on offer is paddle board yoga, Acqua gym, circuit boxing and more! A Giant Land Tortoise encounter programme enables you to learn more about these beautiful creatures that are native to the island. I had a giant tortoise living in the garden of my suite for the duration of my stay! All activities are included as well as a brilliant Kids Club. The Kids Clubtakes children from 2 years old and a Teenage Club for 13 – 17 year olds offers the opportunity for teenagers to mingle.
From Sainte Anne it is possible to take a boat to the beautiful islands of Praslin and La Digue. A wonderful day trip where you will find the most beautiful beaches, famous for the huge granite boulders that look as if they have been placed by a “special effects” director in readiness for filming. Simply stunning!
The best time to travel to the Seychelles is June, July and August which are the driest months however April, May, October and November can be lovely too. The wettest months are December, January and February.
Please do give us a call if you would like further information on Club Med or any other Resort in Seychelles, we would love to hear from you.
